Prepare to enter the Resident Evil universe once more with the widely anticipated remake of Resident Evil 4! Originally released in 2005, this classic game is frequently recognized as one of the all-time best video games and includes beloved characters like Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong.
However, it appears like Albert Wesker, another adored character, will make a comeback in the adaptation. Wesker will be voiced by the same actor who portrayed him in the Resident Evil content in Dead by Daylight, Connor Fogarty, according to IMDB. Wesker didn't show up in the game's original release, but he did in later iterations in the "Separate Ways" bonus game and Mercenaries Mode. It's possible that the remake will go deeper into Wesker and Ada Wong's relationship or perhaps incorporate material from the bonus game into the main plot.
For those who are not familiar, Wesker has played a significant role throughout the whole Resident Evil series. He is a member of the S.T.A.R.S. team assigned to Raccoon City to look into the disappearance of its teammates in the first game. He does, however, go on to make numerous appearances in Resident Evil titles and it is eventually discovered that he is employed by the Umbrella Corporation. It would be fascinating to see how his character is portrayed in the remake and whether or not he has a bigger impact on the story.
When the Resident Evil 4 remake launches on March 24 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, we can't wait to play it. We'll just have to replay the original while making up theories about how the remake will be even better. Are you anticipating Albert Wesker's return in the Resident Evil 4 remake?
